Federmann - Ormsby

The union by marriage of two of our village's well known yung people occurred on Wednesday evening, at the residence of the Bride's sister, Mrs. C. F. Bliven. Before th hour named for the ceremony arrived, the parlors were thronged with nearly an hundred of the realatives and firends fo the interested parties, the neighboring villages being well represented. At 7:15 o'clock the groom and bride, Mr. W. F. Federmann and Miss Etta B. Ormsby, marched in to the music of the piano, presided over by Miss jeenie Wood, and took their places at the east end of the palor under an evergreen bower crowned with a neat monogram of the letters "F" and "O". At the left of the twain were the parents of the bride, Mr. And Mrs. L. Ormsby, and at the right her brother, sister and husband, E.S. Ormsby, Mr and Mrs. Bliven. Rev McMahon offered a prayer, after which he pronounced the ceremony that united the happy couple in the holy bonds of matrimony. Then came the congratulations of friends. a bountiful repast was spread before the guests, followed by social conversation until time for the bride party to adjourn to the depot, where they took the 9:05 train for a tour to Chicago.

Miss Ormsby has been a life-long resident of the village, and is known as one of its most admirable and accomplished young ladies, of generous impulses and a bright and happy nature. Mr. Federmann, although a resident of the village for the past two years, as statin agent for the Lake Shore railway, has in that time gained the respect and esteem of our citizens for this honest and manly principles. The best wishes of a host of friends are extended the happy couple for a bright and pleasant sail down the river of life.

A pleasing incident occurred at Adrian, on the arrival of the bridal patry, where another party were in waitng to take the cars. The Sturgis band were also in wait, being en route home from the Detroit tournament, and on learning of the state of affairs serenaded the happy couples

There is also a long list of gifts.
