"Taylor O. Parker, a well known Barre man, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles C. Kenyon, on Sheridan St., Barre, Vt. His own home was 110 S. Main. Taylor Orleans Parker was born at Woodbury, Vt. Oct. 29, 1846, the son of Joseph and Sally (Ormsbee) Parker. Etc."

In the Eaton Cemetery in the Town of Marshfield, Vt., there is a large metal monument, which is rather common in that area, with much family history.
On the base; "G. M. Town"
In the upper panels;
George M., son of Elisha Town and Nancy L. Town, b. in Montpelier, Vt., May 29, 1819. d. Mar. 31, 1900 aged 80 years 10 mos."
"R. Louisa, wife of Geo. M. Town and daughter of Nathaniel and Sally Ormsbee, b. in E. Montpelier, Vt. Feb. 17, 1822. d. in Cabot, Vt. Feb. 24, 1907 aged 85 years and 7 days."
"George A. Town son of Geo. M. and R. Louisa Town, b. in Montpelier, Vt. Aug. 2, 1846. d. in Whittier, Calif., Jan. 30, 1899 aged 53 yrs. 6 mos."
"Ada L. Town wife of Alba S. Brown, and daughter. of Geo. M. and R. Louisa Town, b. in Montpelier, Vt. Nov. 27, 1844. d. in Weyanwega, Wis., Sept. 12, 1886 aged 41 years 9 mos."
Then to complete the family and evidently out of courtesy for her parents, there is one panel inscribed as follows
"Nathaniel Ormsbee, b. in Warren, R.I., May 17, 1773.
d. in East Montpelier, Vt., May 7, 1857 aged 84 years, and; Sally
Merritt, wife of Nathaniel Ormsbee, b. in Charlton, Mass., Feb.
22, 1779. d. in East Montpelier, Vt. Dec. 21, 1861 aged 82 years."
