In an old letter dated Calais, Vt. Mar. 2, 1862 from Jonas G. Ormsbee to his cousin, Russell M. Ormsbee, he says, "Lyman W. married Diana Templeton - children two."
Another letter dated Jan. 20, 1881, from same to same, says, of Lyman W. Ormsbee "His girl married and left - she settled in Warren, Vt. where Lewis Ormsbee lives."

From: Town Hall records at Warren, Vt., Mrs. Hiram Keys (a daughter) says, "Diana was b. Jan. 22, 1827, daughter of Miles Templeton and Mahaley Templeton. d. May 27, 1911.

Both buried in Cutler Cemetery, E. Montpelier, Vt.

Diana Templeton was born on 22 Jan 1827 in Montpelier, Washington County, Vermont. Birth location obtained from marriage certificate. She died on 27 May 1911. She was married to Lyman Woodworth Ormsbee on 17 Jan 1850 in East Montpelier, Washington County, Vermont. Lyman Woodworth Ormsbee was born on 14 Nov. 1824. He died on 15 July 1898. Diana Templeton and Lyman Woodworth Ormsbee had three children:
