"Ira Ormsbee, died Feb. 5, 1941. He was born at Marshfield, Vt. Mar. 16, 1850, son of Smith and Mary Ann (Lovejoy) Ormsbee. Unmarried. His father lost his life in the Battle of Gettysburg during the Civil War, and is buried in Charlestown, Va.

"From that time, Ira cared for his mother, and made a home for her until she died Nov. 28, 1892. Nearest relative is a grand nephew, Max Gray, (son of his half sister, Sybil) of E. Calais, Vt., and several distant cousins.

Attending the funeral were; Charles Ormsbee, Mrs. Lottie Ormsbee, Mrs. Olive Goodall, Mrs. Edna Morse, Earl St. John and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker, all of E.
