Roy and Bessie Ormsbee were the fourth generation of the family
to occupy the old homestead farm purchased by Isaac Ormsbee in
1796 near Porter Corners in the Town of Greenfield, Saratoga Co.,
N.Y. Isaac moved his family to this farm from Warren, R.I.
Roy Ormsbee was a farmer and political leader in his community.
For many years, he was a member of the Board of Assessors of the
Town of Greenfield. He was a lifetime resident of Porter Corners,
N.Y.
