Dr. Chapman also lists him as a known son.
Ezra Ormsbee, Jr. had the title "Captain" which is on his grave stone in N. Burial Ground Cemetery, where his wife, Esther, is buried next to him. His first wife, Elizabeth is buried in Kickimuit Cemetery where many Coles are buried.
Ezra, Jr. served in the Revolutionary War as shown by D.A.R.
No. 17 455 and No. 58 583 quoting his record as: "Capt. Ezra
Ormsbee (1734-96) commanded a Company of militia in Warren, R.I.
in 1775. Born in Warren, R.I. and died there."
