Additional Facts:

This Ebenezer evidently came from R.I. and settled in the Town of Stockbridge, Windson Co., Vt., possibly about 1790. There are no Vt. vital records for him or Abigail, his wife, but he must have had a son, Ebenezer, who is referred to in the Vt. vital records as Ebenezer, Jr. of Stockbridge; also Carpenter specifically gives him a son, Jacob, with his birth and marriage.

He is probably the same man referred to in Conn. in the Revolution.
Ebenezer Armsby served as a private in the 5th Regt. of the Conn. Line. Col. Philip Burr Bradley, Lt. Samuel Lockwood. He enlisted Feb. 10, 1777 for the duration of the war.
