Must have moved from Rehoboth, Mass. or possibly Stoughton, Mass. about the close of the Revolutionary War. His mother, Joannah Tupper died at Putney, Vt. in 1794. She was probably living there with her son Christopher.

This Christopher served in the Revolutionary War.
