Mother wants me to write to you becuase she had to go down town.

What Do You Think? Dabs and another dog were playing out in the drive way and a car was coming along, and both the front wheel and back wheel ran over Dabs and she was killed, but she didn't suffer much because when he ran over her she tried to bite her back and ran under some-thing and she hardly got under there when she died.

Yesterday night some Reds came to R St. and tried to blow up the Attorney Genral But instead the man that did it all got blown up instead. Some people thinks he set the time wrong and others think he stumbled. R St. Isn't veary far from here. I was a sleep when it explowded But Mother saw the flash and heard the noise.

Dear Brad.

Just a few words to say that your Mother is home she is prety well onely she got very tired Sunday for for she had a gil to lunch and supper she was from New Orleans and one of your mothers school mates daught a very fine girl and they all like her very much.

Well I suppose that some of the family have told you about Alvins knee, well I went to the doctors to day and he said that it was getting on very well, and that he though that he would be able to start east by next Monday, and I do hope he will. I put the fraim for the glass on and got it so that it will stay you bet, now we have got to put on the top and then it will be all ready to go,

Tht lot next to us has been sold and they are going to build and set the house 40 feet back of the side wal walk and next to our house so that the back of thair house will be in front fo us and tha back yerd will be so we can cee it from the our front porch, don't you think that will be fine.

Well I am about the same as I was when yu left not any better, I can work around the house, but can't do any thing about keeping the place cleaned outside so Dick will have all he can do this summer to do what should be dont to keep the place looking good.

I,m told that you are coming home the first of Augu August and if that is so it is onely 3 weeks before we will see you and I shal be glad at that to see you,
