Ormsby, Samuel, son of Nathaniel, born ca. 1775, Norwich, Conn.,
moved with his parents to Huntington, Mass. He married Rachel
(Day) born 1 Apr, 1785, Chester, Mass. He died in Chester on 15
Oct. 1830. Twelve children, of whom 11 grew to maturity, and only
known are Lysander & E.D. (who also came to Michigan).
Note: Thus far I have found Samuel Jackson, Cordelia, Calvin,
Lysander, Selah, Sarah, Erastus Day and Alvin Dewight.
