ORRIN Ormsby was born on 14 Aug 1766 in Windham, Windham, Connecticut. He died on 5 Jan 1793. He was baptized into the LDS church on 20 Feb 1937. He was endowed on 14 Jan 1941. He was sealed to parents on 1 Feb 1977 in the Los Angeles, California LDS temple. He was christened. He was buried.

It seems very probable that some of this family moved to, and settled, in Oswego County, N.Y. for at the Court House, there are deeds involving, Orrin Ormsby, Norman Ormsby, and a Sanford Bibbins. The earliest deed to Norman Ormsby Grantee, is in 1829.

Deed Book J-1 dated July 23, 1829; "Norman Ormsby of Oswego, County of Oswego, and Catherine, his wife, -- etc."

Deed Book R-387 dated July 5, 1834; "Marvin Ormsby, administrator of Norman Ormsby, deceased, to Orrin Ormsby - - - etc."

In the Oswego Probate records, a petition for the settlement of the estate of Catherine Ormsby, Dec'd, of the City of Oswego, gives; Oldest son, Sanford Ormsby; a son John Ormsby now residing in the Village of Vermont in Fulton County, Illinois.

There are also deeds involving an Oliver Ormsby and Elizabeth, his wife.
