Charles Victor Ormsby came to Oak Grove Lodge in 1930 to live with his grandparents and attended school at Casey, Ill. graduating in 1936. Victor remained at Oak Grove Lodge after high school except for four years spent in Chicago, Ill. (1941-1945). In 1954 at Mrs. Baker's death he assumed ownership of Oak Grove Lodge. In 1956 he built a modern motel on the original site. This was destroyed by fire in 1964. Victor was married Oct. 31, 1937 to Dorothy Myrtle Sanders daughter of George Washington and Emma Mieure Sanders of Robinson, Ill. They have three sons: George Edward born Oct. 18, 1945; Charles Allen born Jan 18, 1949; and Leonard Ray born Dec. 16, 1956. George Edward married Janice Earlene Hudson daughter of George and Geneva Hudson of Casey, Ill. on July 9, 1965.
