Geneology by Alvin Scott Ormsby

FORWARD

In the early 1920's, Alvin Scott Ormsby, the 9th gneration of Ormsby's in America, began this geneology.

He traveled throughout New England searching musty archives and reading tombstone inscriptions in old church yards. All the credit for this work is his, a he had no professional help from the so called 'experts' who will furnish "Your Geneology for Ten Dollars".

It is our hope that this record will be of sufficient interest to this, and future generations of Ormsbys, to keep it up to date and pass the information on to their children.
